Location was good for exploring the surrounding area and views of the river were a plus. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the trip. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and good coffee. We enjoyed meeting other guests and relaxing in the common areas.
The hotel was quite basic and lacked any real wow factor. The bar was poorly stocked and we had to leave the hotel to get a decent drink.

The hotel is located in a tranquil and rustic setting, offering a nice view of the river and lots of birdlife. Near the lovely old village of Largentiere, guests may find good restaurants to dine in. the staff is helpful and friendly, the breakfast is generous and constantly replenishing. Rooms have a lot of character, some offer a balcony or terrace with a lovely view, and the bathrooms are spacious.
The access road leading to the hotel is narrow and may pose a challenge to drivers in larger cars.

Amazing location, surrounded by nature. Loved the pool and the fact that we could swim in the river too. the breakfast had a good variety of food and the quality was great. Loved being able to enjoy our meal outside.
The room was very simple and lacked some basic amenities. the restaurant had a limited menu, only one option per day, and we weren't able to choose what we wanted to eat.

The hotel had lovely rooms and bathrooms, with room sizes to suit needs and budgets. The location is very tranquil, near the river, and breakfast includes a selection of breads, croissants, and pastries, as well as the usual cereals, juices and conserves. You can eat indoors or outdoors in the courtyard. Dinner can be booked. Bathroom toiletries, which are eco-friendly, can be bought to take home, as well. Very enjoyable stay, in this ex-silk cloth weaving mill.
The final part of the road to the hotel is a bit narrow, but very little traffic.

I had a great stay at this hotel resort. The location was perfect, near the river and close to the lovely old village for nice restaurants. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained including the pool. The breakfast had a great variety of local products and the staff was always helpful.

Quietness is the best this hotel provides. The beautiful view of the village of Montreal in the distance is great: it's "le midi" as it used to be. Rooms are spacious, and neatly decorated in a contemporary style. Maids were very efficient and cleanliness perfect. While mass tourism plagues the area, this place is peaceful and secluded while only at a stone's throw from the must-see places of Ardèche.
Access with a big car is tricky (long one lane road), nearby river has no more water in the summer (no natural swimming then, must use the pool), a lot should be done on the landscaping and the parking lot (it's more like a 2-star campground as it it), there were problems with the septic tank (no good news in August) and on our last night we had to keep the window open to avoid the fetid smell from the bathroom. The guy at the reception (the manager) was not as friendly as the rest of the staff. Lunch/dinners and breakfast are too expensive for families (30 euro menu and 10 euro breakfast): holidaying in southern France makes little sense when similar areas in Spain are so much more reasonable, unless you cannot afford the drive further South.

Nice river. Everything looks nice.
Aircondition only 24°C, not cooler. Not a real restaurant: only one evening meal and we had to book it until 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Breakfast expensive and with little choice; served only between 8 and 10 o'clock.

We loved the setting. It was just wonderful. The scenery was lovely and it really was a place to unwind and relax. Being able to take breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, airy, and the bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. The pool was a bonus, again very clean, and sufficient loungers. Plenty of parking on site.
The restaurant serves evening meals but for me, as a pescatarian, this presented a problem. The evening meals are a set three courses. On the first evening the meal was a meat dish but the staff did offer me a fish alternative which was delicious. However there was not a fish alternative every evening.

Very nice room and quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great croissants and chocolate break for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
Location is a bit far from activities at Ardeche. Breakfast a little pricey (9.50 Euros/per person).
